In a season that has seen swimmers break a multitude of Brantford Aquatic Club records, it was a younger swimmer at the club who made one of the biggest splashes.

Competing in the 400-metre freestyle back in February, Alwynn (Wynnie) Wells broke two-time Olympian Julie Howard’s 40-year-old club record in the 10 and under short course category by completing the race in five minutes, 14.02 seconds.
