  • “Are you a leader in your community or looking to become one?  Join Spectrum Gymnastics’ Teen Leadership Camp this summer!  Camp is geared towards students in grades 9 & 10.  We will lean about what good leaders SAY and DO and practice SAYING & DOING those things.  This camp is active, hands on and full of opportunities.  NO GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE NEEDED, just willingness to learn.  You will be GUARANTEED and interview at the end of camp and it could lead to an AMZING job with the Spectrum team!”  For morning information, stop by the guidance office.  This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop their skills!

Tuesday, June 21

  • The workshop tablet #3 is missing.  There will be a reward for returning the tablet, so please keep an eye out for it.  It is labelled workshop tablet #3.
  • Permission forms will be distributed for the Friday’s year end activities.  From 1:08 – 2:55 p.m. on Friday we are going to be having a variety of activities that you can participate in if you return your permission forms.  Stay turning for more information.
  • National Indigenous People’s Day is celebrated every June 21, the summer solstice, as a day to recognize and celebrate Indigenous culture across Canada. 

The idea of a celebratory day was first introduced in 1977, at a United Nations Conference on Discrimination.  Today is a day to observe and honour Indigenous traditions and history.

You can be an ally by supporting Indigenous practices.

  • Connect with Nature
  • Appreciate the diversity of nations, cultures, and people in our community (as far reaching as that is)
