  • The Hidden Valley Café is open for business! We are serving delicious Italian wedding soup served with fresh baked buns. We also have a variety of cookies, and beverages for sale. See you in room 100 during the lunch hour.
  • The Paw Print is having a pizza lunch today in the library. New members are welcome to join. We will have a meeting first, then we can dig into the pizza 😊
  • That is right! You are correct! It is time for this week’s edition of your Fun French Fact of the week! What colour shirt day is it today? If you said pink, you are correct! Did you know that the word for “pink” in French is also the name of a flower? Do you know which one? Come to the French room (room 204) at the beginning of lunch today and tell Mme Sorensen the word for the colour pink in French for one entry into the draw OR tell her the words for “pink shirt” for two entries into the draw! All are welcome. Hope to see you stop by!
  • There will be no painting after school today due to the weather forecast for this afternoon/evening. We will paint tomorrow after school.
  • Junior boys basketball players are reminded to return their uniform to Coach Lee in the Turning Point Office.
  • •The Royal City Soccer Club is excited to host their 31st annual grassroots summer day camps to children aged 5 to 13.    
  • •They are looking for students to volunteer at their camps this summer.    

    •The camps will be run in Brantford during July and August. 

    •If you are looking for volunteer hours and are interested in volunteering at a summer soccer camp, please come to the Guidance Office for more detailed information.

  • The Hidden Valley Café is open for business! We have a variety of fresh baked cookies, delicious deli sandwiches, and an assortment of beverages. Come down to room 100 during the lunch hour to purchase a tasty treat. Tomorrow, the Café will be selling yummy Italian wedding soup.
  • Bonjour! This is an announcement for all students who completed grade 12 French with Mme Scheers. Please cine see Mme Sorensen today at the beginning of lunch in room 204.
  • Jr. Girls Volleyball practice tonight until 4:30.
  • After School Paint Group meets tonight after school to paint the backdrop for Langton Figure Skating. We will wrap up by 5pm.
  • The library is hosting another Maker Monday on February 27th. Come design a Dot Art Mug. Check out the T.V. by the library for an example and sign up at the circulation desk with your $4 by Friday.
  • Newspaper Club members AND new members, we are having our pizza lunch tomorrow in the library. Please arrive at 11:40 for a brief meeting before the pizza.
  • A Tuesday reminder for those invited to “Stress Less”. See you at lunch today in the Art Room.
  • There will be pick-up volleyball today at lunch in the gym. Everyone is welcome to join in.
  • This week is “Freedom to Read Week” which encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Every year, school libraries receive challenged to reading materials. Defending the freedom to read means supporting people’s right to choose what they want to read and to makeup their minds about the content. Check out our library display to learn more!
