Thompson Creek won the lottery when Mrs. Shea came to our school.

She has come to our school after working at Hagersville Elementary, Caledonia Centennial and Oneida. Mrs. Shea is from Caistorville, not too far away. She was familiar with our school an she took a job here because it was a full time job in just one school, and all the friendly staff and students make her time here more fun.

Fingerprints on the door glass and toilet issues in the washroom are her biggest pet peeves. Let's try to make the environment better for her and for us, too! Some things we could do to make Mrs. Shea's time more enjoyable are cleaning up after our own messes in the classroom at the end of the day, and picking up garbage we find and throwing it in the proper garbage or recycling bin. We should also be respecting the washrooms more and keep our fingers off the glass.

We really do appreciate Mrs. Shea's hard work and friendliness as she is welcomed to our school.

A not-so-secret fact about her is that her favourite movie is Footloose! Let's dance down the halls this school year, but remember to clean your shoes first!
