Delhi District Secondary School student Talia Mago is the Junior Citizen of the Year winner.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, the youngster is also the DDSS Student Body president while also involved in the school’s Linked Crew Leadership Program, Friday Night Lights football event, and helping out at the Delhi Sharing Pantry food bank.

“I was thrilled, honestly,” Mago said. “I’ve done so much for the community, but never really expected anything in return. I’m very, very content working behind the scenes, so I’m honoured.”
