Ford donation gives DSS students hands-on experience

DUNNVILLE—Students in Dunnville Secondary School’s transportation programs have been getting hands-on experience with current vehicle parts, thanks to a donation through Ford Canada’s Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) program.

Principal Geoff Stead said the school was informed about the donation by Grand Erie Experiential Learning department at the end of 2024.

The Ford ACE program donated a total of 68 parts to eight Grand Erie District School Board schools. A variety of parts were donated, including engines, transmissions, steering racks, turbo chargers and fuel injectors.
