There is a School Council in every Grand Erie school. This representative group of parents allows the community to be involved in the discussion of education issues and helps the school identify and respond to the educational needs of the community.
School Councils provide advice on developing and implementing of policies for many important matters.
School Council Start-up

Chairs of School Councils, Home and School Associations, Parent-Teacher Associations, and members of these parent organizations are urged to attend. The School Council Start-up is an important event for all School Council Chairs as key information is provided and great ideas are shared.
