On Friday (March 20), the Ministry of Education announced the launch of an online portal for students and families during the province-wide closure of schools due to COVID-19.
The Ministry of Education says Learn at Home and Apprendre à la maison will provide online literacy and numeracy materials and resources to support continued learning for elementary and secondary school students. The full Ministry of Education news release can be found here.
Grand Erie's Privacy Office created this Privacy Information Sheet to support students and their families in transitioning to learning at home. The Privacy Information Sheet includes advice on how to make informed decisions when it comes to privacy and sharing information. It also features FAQs for supporting and securing students when learning online at home.
