Special Needs Strategy

The Special Needs Strategy was launched by the Ontario government in 2014.

School boards, Community Care Access Centres, Children’s Treatment Centres like the Lansdowne Children’s Centre and pre-school language programs have all been asked to distribute a letter to families whose child may be receiving or waiting for speech-language pathology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy services.

Grand Erie District School Board is reaching out to families who have a child referred to a speech-language pathologist in our board during the 2016-17 school year.
