Divisional Manager of Maintenance, Energy & Capital
The Maintenance Team maintains all of the Board’s Facilities utilizing multi-disciplinary tradespeople as well as contractors. We provide Routine Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Grounds Services, Cost Estimating, and Fleet Management services. Throughout the course of a school year Maintenance staff process over 12,000 work orders on average per year.

Construction & Renewal
Our Construction and Renewal staff develop design standards for all Board Facilities. We assist Architects with the design of new schools and major additions and Supervise all construction projects. We prequalify Engineers, Architects, general contractors and consultants and ensure our construction and capital projects are reported to the Ministry. The development and review of a wide range of technical documents including drawings and specifications for renewal replacements of roofs, heating and ventilation systems, electrical equipment, masonry restoration and other major building components are also completed by staff.
