Waterford District Go Out on Top at Cheer Invitational

Senior members of the Waterford Wolves are graduating at the top of Norfolk’s cheer pyramid.  

Captains Aurora Duesling, Grace Herron, and Taylor Brown led their squad to a win during Wednesday’s Norfolk Invitational Cheer Competition within the friendly confines of WDHS.  

Having finished second at last year’s county meet, the Wolves entered a packed gym with one goal in mind.  

“It’s nice to get the final win,” said Duesling. “It’s been a long year, we’ve done a lot of corrections to get to this point, so it’s a really rewarding feeling. Everyone else did great, too.”
