Brantford Bulldogs-themed lessons 'bring community into the classroom' for kindergarteners

Kindergarten students at Lansdowne-Costain Public School just might be the “biggest littlest Brantford Bulldogs fans” in the city.  

After passing through a long gold fringe covering the doorway, visitors enter a classroom transformed into a mini hockey hub. 

The walls are lined with math and language lessons, all with a Bulldogs’ theme. Students kneeling on the carpet, many wearing tiny jerseys and armed with popsicle sticks, howl with delight as they shoot little wooden pucks into the nets of a cardboard rink.
