Rock Your Mocs is a worldwide celebration of Indigenous identity, culture and unity. Established in 2011 by Jessica Jaylyn Atsye of Laguna Pueblo, the initiative encourages Indigenous Peoples to wear their moccasins with pride, honour their ancestors and celebrate the diversity of Indigenous traditions.
Throughout the week, participants share photographs, videos and stories using the hashtag #RockYourMocs, creating a global celebration of Indigenous cultures and connections.
Rock Your Mocs also provides and opportunity for schools and communities to learn about the cultural significance of moccasins and recognize the distinct traditions, identities and experiences of Indigenous Peoples.
