Statement on Pride Flag Vandalism at Delhi District Secondary School

Grand Erie District School Board stands with those who were affected by the vandalism of a Pride Flag at Delhi District Secondary School on June 28. We thank Principal Wills for his leadership in standing with the school community in denouncing this act. The Pride Flag will continue to be flown proudly at DDSS and many other Grand Erie schools each June.

Grand Erie is committed to creating safe and inclusive school environments for everyone, including our 2SLGBTQ+ students, parents and staff. We are proud of all of our schools who have flown the Pride Flag, organized activities, or taken the time to educate students and staff this month to help centre and celebrate the voices of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

For anyone impacted, please find below some community resources available to help support the well-being of students, staff and families.
