Haldimand Secondary Schools Pupil Accommodation Review
Update (June 6): The Director of Education submitted a report to the Board of Trustees that outlines the Haldimand Secondary School Accommodation Review - Committee Report, and the Haldimand Secondary School Accommodation Review - Senior Administration Report. Motions currently on the table on June 9 (Committee of the Whole Meeting No. 2) and then approval on June 23 (Regular Board Meeting) is to receive the two reports as information, and to consider both reports at the Committee of the Whole Meeting No. 2 in November, 2014. The time frame is in accordance with FT45 Pupil Accommodation Reviews.
The Board of Trustees will meet on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Committee of the Whole Meeting No. 2, held at the Education Centre (349 Erie Avenue, Brantford) at 7:15 p.m.
Background
Accommodation Review Committee: Grand Erie District School Board has approved an accommodation review for all secondary schools in Haldimand County to ensure viable program and quality learning environment that support student achievement. The schools included in the review are: Cayuga, Dunnville, Hagersville and McKinnon Park Secondary Schools.

The Accommodation Review Process
The goal of the accommodation review process is to provide a quality learning environment for students. The review will provide a structured consultation process with the involvement of the local community.
