Grand Pathways events invite students to explore options, chart next steps

Tuesday, Oct 21, 2025

Grand Erie is hosting two regional events next week aimed at helping students chart their futures through an exploration of secondary school programs and post-secondary pathways.

"Secondary school is an exciting time to explore your interests, discover who you are and who you want to be, and connect with supports and resources to help you get there, " said JoAnna Roberto, Director of Education. “We’re thrilled to be offering the Grand Pathways events this year to help learners and families navigate possible career paths, educational opportunities and post-secondary options.”

The Grand Pathways events welcome students from grades 6 to 12, along with their parents/caregivers, to explore the range of resources and supports Grand Erie secondary schools offer, as well as the five post-secondary pathways available to empower informed decision-making and future planning.

The Pathways Guide is a companion to the event, compiling resources and information in one place.

Grand Pathways events:

  • Haldimand and Norfolk: Oct. 28 at Hagersville Secondary School, 70 Parkview Rd, Hagersville, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Brantford and Brant County: Oct. 29 at North Park Collegiate and Vocational School, 280 N Park St, Brantford, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
