Important Update: Dual Credit and SWAC Programs During College Strike

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) at Conestoga College, Fanshawe College and Mohawk College are on strike effective on September 11, 2025. Please read this important update for students in School Within A College (SWAC) and Dual Credit programs.

School Within A College

Students participating in the SWAC programs will be relocated to an alternate site for the duration of the strike. Staff will work with students to provide details on this alternative site and transportation planning. 

We will continue to monitor the situation at the colleges and provide updates as they become available.

Dual Credit programs 

Students in the Dual Credit programs will remain at school and will not go to the colleges for any programming until the strike concludes. Our staff will continue to work with students at the school to support their work.
