Moving more than 60 students from Waterford Public School into an unused wing of Waterford’s high school served to ease overcrowding at the elementary school — whose yard cannot physically hold any more portables — and help kids on the cusp of graduation get acclimatized to their future scholastic home.
But principal Adrianne Cunningham said the Grade 7 and 8 students who have been studying at Waterford District High School since September love one perk above all.
“Gym every day,” she said.
