Update on College Strike, Return to SWAC and Dual Credit for Students

Please read this important update for students in School Within A College (SWAC) and Dual Credit programs.

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) at Conestoga College, Fanshawe College and Mohawk College have reached a tentative agreement. College staff are returning to work on October 16, 2025.

School Within A College

Students participating in the SWAC programs in Brantford will resume at Conestoga College on October 17, and students in Simcoe will resume at Fanshawe College on October 20.

Dual Credit programs 

Students in the Dual Credit programs will return to their assigned college campus on October 20.

Grand Erie staff will continue to work with students as they transition back to regular routines.
