School Council

Calling all Parents and Caregivers

School Council is a collaborative effort by parents, community members, volunteers and staff to make DDSS the best place for our students to learn and grow. We are always looking for new members. If you wish to get involved, please contact the school for further details.

Reasons to get involved with School Council

Gives you as a parent or caregiver an opportunity to talk openly and collaborate with the Principal, Vice-Principal, Teacher representative and Student Council to learn about what goes on in the school, school board and the Ministry of Education.
School Council gives you a chance to ask questions, have your concerns addressed, and share your ideas about making DDSS the best place for students to learn and grow.
Participants can come and go as they please, there is no need to commit to every meeting. We are always looking to increase our membership, and everyone is welcome!
