The final two weeks before Winter Break have seen Cedarland’s halls bustling with excitement and holiday cheer. Students have been busy practicing for the Winter Concert, dressing up for festive days, and creating holiday crafts. Mrs. Grieve’s class has been inspiring our Wildcats to “fill their stockings with kindness” this season. Their thoughtful suggestions include congratulating peers on a job well done, being a good friend, and helping others.

Our Student Council, with the support of Ms. Lockhart and Ms. Hamilton, has worked tirelessly to ensure all Wildcats enjoyed the days leading up to the break. From handing out candy canes to organizing an engaging school-wide bingo, they truly helped make the season feel festive. One of the highlights was the “Decorate Your Teacher” challenge, where glitter, wrapping paper, and tinsel were transformed into creative and unique outfits for our staff. Teachers proudly showcased their designs to be judged by special guests: Cedar the Wildcat, Mrs. Ash, and Santa, who kindly took time out of their busy schedules to help choose a winner. With scores reaching an impressive 67, and after some tough competition, Mr. Czerniga emerged as the winner!

Wishing our Cedarland Wildcat families a safe and happy holidays!
