On Monday May 4th, our school will gather to celebrate Music Monday. Our school has participated in this event for the last 14 years and we are very excited to meet as a whole school outside at 10:00 am on our playground to sing the song “One Hand Up” by the Strumbellas. Family members are permitted to observe the performance on the school property's perimeter. Following the event, students will return to their classrooms. Please be respectful of other students’ privacy and do not record and post on social media.
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Art Show on Thursday, May 7th, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. Join us as we celebrate the creativity and hard work of our students with a vibrant display of their artwork.
Due to the large size of our student population, we are splitting the art show into 2 viewing sessions in are gymnasium and library learning commons. Please come and visit during the times below according to your child’s last name:
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm - Students with last names A to L
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm - Students with last names M to Z
We will also be having a silent auction where each grade is collecting donations and working together to make themed baskets to be auctioned off at our event. Our School Council and local businesses have also generously donated some gift baskets!
School Council will be running a concession stand during the Art Show! Items on offer will include sour key candies, chips, Gatorade and water, as well as Husky Croc Charms! The concession will be cash only!
