See what Tollgate is doing to help save our planet....

In 2010 our students helped plant another 5000 trees, togetherwith students from other Brantford Schools. In years to come they will be able to tell their children how they helped make their community a part of  a better, greener planet

And rememember last year when our students were  busy in action on April 22nd, Earthday 2009.

Our Grade 9 students assisted in the City-coordinated planting of 5000 trees in the Sinclair Blvd. area of town. These will be a lasting reminder of how partners- business, city and students-can pull together to help improve the world for future generations...and for ourselves too!

...and Mrs. Swimm and Ms. Szostak organized a homeroom contest to see who could collect the most garbage and leaves from the area between our school and the 403. The team that collected the most, by weight, won a pizza party!

... and that's not all!

Mrs. Dulmage's and Mr. Nikota's classes  cleaned up Spring Hill Park, while Ms. Dyment's class will be cleaned up Roswell Park!

We're proud of Tollgate's contribution to the community...and our planet!
