Silver Creek - An Earth Day Project
This is the second phase of a project that began last year on Earth Day. On April 22nd 2008 approximately 100 Pauline Johnson students and 100 grade 7 students from Branlyn and Banbury Elementary schools planted 1500 trees. The funding for phase one was provided through an Environmental Education Grant from the Ministry of Education with supporting funds from the Branlyn Neighborhood Association.
