A hearty welcome back to all. Our committee has been on a brief hiatus but we are now gearing up for a very eventful year.
Our new Principal, Greg Woodcroft has brought us a breath of fresh air and stirred new enthusiasm.


In the past few months of 2009, we donated approximately $7000 to the school’s graduation ceremonies, Renaissance Committee and to an individual student to attend a football camp in Saskatchewan.


This year, donations will equal that amount as we contribute to the establishment of wireless Internet technology, help send a student to a leadership workshop in California and continue to support the Renaissance Committee (staff chair Neal Stamer) who are gradually updating and revamping the appearance of our school.


Three initiatives have been established for the year 2010 to replenish our dwindling financial resources. We are still operating with our windfall from the 2004 Reunion.
It is time to fund raise once more. To that end we will organize the following:


1. A year long “Special Names” letter writing campaign to elicit donations


2. A Golf tournament in June or July to celebrate our school and our            friendships.


3.   A Pub Night in September or October to enjoy more merriment.
We are striking committees this month. Please call 519-752-9343 (Les Carr) to volunteer.


Other possible fundraisers might be a Bingo, Elimination Draw or Raffle.
