You can locate information about scholarships and bursaries in the resource center on this page.
Read the information carefully and pay close attention to the due dates. Some applications specify that an application must be postmarked by a certain date. In this case as long as you get it to a post office before their mail is picked up for the day you will be OK. If you are putting it in a mailbox it needs to be in the morning.
Most scholarships say the application needs to be received by the due date. If you are using regular mail allow 5 business days to be certain it arrives.
Courier services and express mail can usually deliver in 1 day but these are much more expensive.
If you want me to edit or review your application I need to see it a minimum of 4 days before you plan to mail it so that there is time for me to edit it and for you to do the corrections.
Remember that if you are asking people to do a letter of reference for you that you should allow them one week to do this and you should provide them with information about the scholarship you are applying for as well as a brief summary of your accomplishments and/or involvements.
