May 6-10 Education Week
Music Monday - Monday May 6 @ 1:00. The entire school will be celebrating by singing "Is Somebody Singing". This is an outdoor event.
Ecole Fairview "Walk of Fame" Open House - Wednesday May 8th 3:00 - 5:00
English Book Fair - Wednesday and Thursday 9:00-5:00
School Council will also have the new Fairview 'Spirit Wear' on Wednesday and Thursday.

This is a great French website with reading, games and songs. Try it out!
This is a fun website that teaches children typing skills.
This is a fun science website that has a "simple machines" activity page. This is a great website for your child to practice his/her understanding of simple machines.
This is a great French language website!! You will need to have some basic understanding of French to navigate through the website as it is in French. As I show the children how to use the website, they will be able to use it more independently. There is one game that allows you to hear the word being clicked on - a great way for parents to hear the proper pronounciation of vocabulary.
A great French website with math and language games and French television programs (including many cartoons that the children are familiar with).
This is a great English website where children can play language and math games. There is a math game where kittens race across balls of yarn. This game allows for up to 4 players, using different computers.We have found that by keeping the game "public" in the set-up instructions, children are able to join to other children and play "live".
I have attached a Math Calendar to be used at home. If you are looking for some math activities, this calendar provides 1 activity a day.
Library-Day 1
Please remind your child to bring running shoes everyday as we have either gym or D.P.A (daily physcal activity). For D.P.A, we have started running the perimeter of the school yard (weather permitting) so your child needs to have proper running shoes.
