West Lynn Public School Music Program receives $19,200 from 100 Women Who Care Norfolk

The West Lynn Public School Music Program is getting a major boost thanks to 100 Women Who Care Norfolk.

The group announced Monday that the school’s music program was selected to receive $19,200 following its latest meeting.

The money will help the program purchase new equipment, including an electronic keyboard that can be used for piano accompaniment at outdoor performances. It will also go toward hand chimes and kalimbas.

Transportation & Weather

  • If you are eligible and require transportation, please click here to apply for 2025-26 busing. Transportation will email you directly with pickup and drop off times and location.
  • To apply for 2026-27 busing please click here .
  • West Lynn is located in ZONE 1
  • Cancellations: Decisions are made by 6:30 a.m. Check stsbhn.ca or @GEDSB on X.
  • Road Closures: If buses are cancelled due to road conditions, schools are closed and learning moves online.
  • Cold Weather: If it is -30°C, buses are cancelled but schools remain open.

 


Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

If you are dropping off your students a reminder that supervision does not start until 8:30 a.m.  Parents can walk their students to the gate and our staff will welcome them to the yard.   There are plenty of places to park within a five minute walk so we ask that you do not drop off in the staff parking lot or in the bus zone.
