Budding young actors, directors, and stage crews from seven area high schools staged their productions at Brantford Collegiate Institute this week during the district level competition of the National Theatre School’s DramaFest.

As the largest youth theatre festival in the province involving more than 12,000 high school students and educators annually, NTS DramaFest marks its 80th anniversary this year with district, regional, and provincial festivals throughout Ontario.

BCI’s entry in the district-level competition was The Overview, written by teacher Jan St. Denis.
