Jane Darville, who grew up in the Eagle Place neighbourhood of Brantford but now lives in Toronto, has been appointed to the Order of Canada SUBMITTED PHOTO

Jane Darville uses the word ‘privilege” a lot when asked about her journey from the Eagle Place neighbourhood of Brantford to Canada’s highest honour for citizenship.

A graduate of Pauline Johnson Collegiate, Darville, 76, remembers the passion of those she worked with during her lengthy health career that began in her early 20s.
