T-Birds earn final playoff spot in senior boys basketball

A fourth-quarter surge by Pauline Johnson Collegiate on Tuesday at home helped push the Thunderbirds into the AABHN senior boys basketball quarter-finals.

Facing McKinnon Park Secondary School for the final playoff spot in the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk league, PJC (2-10) scored a 52-46 win against the Blue Devils (0-12) in the final game of the regular season to book their spot in the post-season.
