North Park Collegiate’s girls field hockey team has gone from worst to first and in the process the Trojans knocked off the three-time defending AABHN champion Assumption College Lions.
Playing in the Athletic Association of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk championship game on Wednesday at Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex, North Park and Assumption were tied 0-0 in the final before the Trojans came captured the championship following a 3-2 shootout win.
