Van Der Kooi to join fellow Delhi Raiders at Guelph

Like a few before him, Justin Van Der Kooi is set to swap blue and gold for red and black.

Earlier this year, standout Delhi Raiders lineman Justin Van Der Kooi announced his commitment to join the Guelph Gryphons and their stable of former Raiders next season

The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Springford resident was described as a “cornerstone” player by Delhi District Second School football coach Marshall Greenham.

“He’s a true leader,” Greenham said. “He was an extremely important piece for us; we’re very much going to miss him next year.”
