Invest in the Future of Every Grand Erie Student

Through the Ready-to-Learn Fund, we help students stay on track for learning success by helping with emergency needs so they can fully participate in school life.

We work with superintendents, principals, vice-principals, guidance counsellors, social workers and Grand Welcome Centre staff – our colleagues who really know what is going on – and who know which students need a bit of help.

If you, or someone you know, needs the support of the Grand Erie Learning Foundation, contact the principal, teacher or staff member at your local school. All requests must be submitted through the school’s principal or vice-principal.

The application process will open in 2027.

Within Grand Erie, there is economic diversity from community to community. Some school communities and parent councils have greater challenges than others raising funds to assist with additional purchases above and beyond core education funding.

The Grand Erie Learning Foundation will support programs in schools in the key areas of Mental and Physical Health and Well-being, Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion, Indigenous Education, and Technology.

The application for school grants will open in 2027.
