Flexible Periods Available for Secondary Students

Grand Erie District School Board secondary schools will continue to offer Flexible Periods to provide students an additional opportunity to demonstrate their learning based on the course material covered to date.

Individual teachers will schedule Flexible Periods for all secondary classes between progress and mid-term reports (October 1 to November 27). These dates will be shared directly with students and families by their teachers.

Students can use this time to complete or submit previously assigned work or to plan with teachers for credit recovery in current courses.

Student transportation will run and attendance is still taken as any other school day.
