  • Do you buy groceries, gas, household items, shop at department or renovation stores? Do you eat in restaurants, go to the movies or need gifts for holidays, birthdays & special events?
    • FundScrip is a fundraising program that helps us raise much needed funds simply by purchasing gift cards to the stores you are already shopping at. You purchase a $100 grocery card and you will receive a $100 gift card; a percentage of your purchase will be donated to our fundraising campaign. It’s just that easy!
    • The VHSS Athletics Department is running a FundScrip campaign through the month of November so that gift cards will be delivered to the school by mid-December, just in time for holiday gift giving. If you would like to purchase any of the available cards (see attached pictures for the extensive list), and support Valley Heights Athletics, track down any of our fall athletes and let them know you are interested. If you don’t know anyone, you can contact us at the school and we will be happy to help you out.
    • Thank you for your support!

  • The Junior and Senior boys’ volleyball teams both finished third place in the west division and had to play a quarter final game in Waterford last Thursday. The Juniors against Cayuga, and the Seniors against Waterford. Major set-backs of a time change and court change rattled the bears and both teams fell behind in the beginning. Once things settled down, they slowly clawed their way back taking each game to 5 sets! Unfortunately, they couldn’t quite edge out their opponents and fell short of moving forward. Excellent seasons for both teams!
    • The Junior bears went on to play in a tournament at SCS yesterday. After a long day of volleyball, defeating St. John’s and Holy Trinity, they made their way to a semi-final match against their arch-nemesis Cayuga. Here they got their revenge, beating them in three sets and moving on to the championship game. They came out of the tournament with a second-place finish. Great work Bears! Meet in Mr. Hamm’s room, room 234, at the beginning of lunch.
