Homework

Homework should be recorded by student in their agenda on a daily basis. 

Students are regularly asked to complete small tasks to prepare for the next day. 

Home Reading:   Students are required to read for 20 minutes in FRENCH every night.  Students earn 1 point for every 20 minutes read in FRENCH. 

It's easy!  Students read, they write the title and minutes read and you are asked to sign the agenda to confirm that they read.

This will directly reflect their report card mark for organization.

   Reading needs to be focused...and sometimes students will need an English/French dictionary.  

Students may read any type of text...newspapers, website, instruction manuals, comic strips, magazines, "traditional books or novels", informational texts.  Students must be able to demonstrate understanding via retell or summarize what they read.   Class books are always available to sign out!
