Career Resource Centres are housed at Brantford Collegiate Institute, Pauline Johnson CVS, Tollgate Technical Skills Centre, North Park Collegiate, Delhi District S.S., Grand Erie Learning Alternatives, Career Link, Paris District H.S., Simcoe Composite School, and the Youth Employment Centre. These Centres are funded and administered jointly with Industry Canada.

The Community Access Program (CAP) works in partnership with community groups to connect Canadians in urban, rural and remote settings to the Information Highway and to the social and economic benefits it can present. For more information on the national CAP program, go to cap.ic.gc.ca

CareerLink is a CAP designated centre and enables local citizens to access, not only the Internet, but a variety of other services.

People are encouraged to drop by the CAP public Internet access centres to find out how they can benefit from the economic and social opportunities available through the Information Highway. Some special offerings may include: workshops, access to a comprehensive career planning and job search resource centre, and special activities for youth.

The Community Access Program network includes: Grand Erie District School Board, St. Leonard's Society of Brant, Fanshawe College, Brant Skills Development Group, and Haldimand-Norfolk Manufacturer's Association.

The goal of the Federal Community Access Program is to link up to 10,000 rural, remote and urban communities to the Information Highway, making Canada the most connected nation in the world. CAP is also an integral part of the federal Youth Employment Strategy, as CAP centres help develop job opportunities for young Canadians aged 15 to 30.
